The Fall

Silently you have stalked my courses
watching me examine the world's sources
the final steps I would take
would be the ones my soul remake

It seems a lifetime ago
I set my course upon to know
to listen to wisdom and understand
the true aspect of all man

What has happened since the Fall
the death that fell upon us all
what did we lose departing Garden
that requires all humans pardon

In that place Adam knew God's affection
what did he do to receive his rejection
"Let me shelter you and be your friend
Mine is Love that will not end"

He turned on God what did he find
joining forces with an angel would be unkind
what can I do your favor to win
when raised was I in the house of sin

Our children learn from a world that is cruel
taught by priests who are Lucifer's tool
Adam chose the voice of another
and found he was not truly a brother

He chose to turn his back to God
to learn from another and him laud
Lucifer got the worship he sought
and into his arms was mankind caught

Many angels fell seeking the daughters of men
Jah caused a flood to destroy their sin
another destruction is close at hand
God will again cleanse his land

Will you choose to be wheat or tare
receive God's Love or punishment share
the choice has always been death or life
to live in Love or partake in angels strife
