God made us all

God made us all

A Poem by Victoria

God made my mother.
He made my father.
In turn,
it created me.
God created all.
God loves all.
Why is it
that that life
that He made for us,
that He gave us,
is the easiest
to take for granted?
Why is it so easy
to take Him for granted.
I contemplate over these
questions every day.
Sometimes, I am guilty
of slipping from my faith
and life becomes filthy
for me and what I see.
I race around the night forest
and search in desperation
Like Young Goodman Brown
when he lost his own Faith.
Except now,
I search for the Faith
once held in everyone's heart
but doesn't seem to hold true.
The Faith that inspired migration.
It is up to me
to find the Faith in all people
not because I want to.
But because Jesus did.
Because mankind will one day fall
on their knees for The Lord.
Because one day,
mankind will fall
if they don't remember that
God made us all.

I felt inspired to write about the Lord after reading the passage, And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:32).

"Because mankind will one day fall
on their knees for The Lord.
Because one day,
mankind will fall
if they don't remember that
God made us all."

that is just your view. in your opinion YOU will fall if you don't remember that god made us all.
I will not fall hun, because it is not what i believe, and me saying that contradicts the very essence of what you are talking about doesn't it?

I have read that passage, and yes, it is beautiful and honest. no harm intended towards your beliefs, just making it clear that I am not one of those that will fall.

and no, i do not fear God. let me make that clear too. i believe that the same energy that keeps this earth revolving, call it god or call it science, it in the end just wants me to be happy.

so, thank you for sharing your view, and now i have shared mine too!

Love all your poems. Great work again. Your works are so eloquent, not exactly in word flow, but the way you present your ideas. Love how you worked in Faith, and how you embody the faith in God, the same way Hawthorne did. Hawthorne is one of my favorite authors, and Young Goodman Brown was probably my second favorite work... no, third, right behind "Rappaccini's Daughter" and "The Scarlet Letter." Great work.

Love is the Key... to your Heart... sets you, Free!

A beautiful song sang, in a gathering once. By a Negro man and a friend
of great faith. The manner that he sang it, was with such soul stirring reverence. It was easy to see his passion, and love for God.
Though in that I knew him. Understood, he was also been recently
separated from his wife and because of work, living away from them.
In a different city. The question of faith an equating Truth...
At times, hard to discern.

Experiencing the means of life, to weigh that, Against actions and the sequence's of our lives. Moving, through this given life in Gods garden
and sometimes... Trampling, its flowers. Gods created wonder surrounds.
An sings to us. Daily...

As sometimes we fall and other times see, to rise and walk. With eyes
opened to the living proof. Love, is the answer. The binding of it all,
together. Making it whole. Beautiful, inspired and resplendent.
Reflected, in the heart. That love him...

Love... love is the Key... to your Heart... sets you, free!

Love me, that I may love thee.
If you love me not.
My Love...
Can in no wise, reach Thee... know this, oh Servant.
The Lord is ever present...

He sees, your heart, your prayer, your hope, your despair... your Poems, Victoria.
Bless You.

The sad part most of us find God when we are at our worst. Poem is very good. We need to look around us and see the beautiful gifts that were given to us and be thankful. A excellent poem.

right on!!!! I agree with this poem. yes sometimes we take God for granted, and I guess it is because, we don't really understand the type of love that he has for us, it is way beyound human nature. but we can understand it to a point. yes the truth shall set you free. great write.

To this I say amen... God created us all and gave us many gifts including free will, it allows us to earn our way into heaven... and being human we all slip now and then but as long as we know in our hearts that we are sorry for our slip ups we remain true.
