Prayer of thanks

How my life has turned around

You have turned my life around
I give you all the credit
You did not let my woes
Drown my life
You have turned my life around
You got me out of that mess

A mess that hindered me
I asked  and begged you for help
You helped put me back together
You have pulled me out of oblivion
You gave me a second chance at life
Before I drowned in my own mess

I lifted my heart to God and sung
Praises to the lord and thanked him face to face
Don't worry he may get angry once and a while
But don't worry in your life time
You will find there is love
The nights of crying your eyes out
Now give way to laughter

At times when things were going great
I thought I had it made, I was on top of the mountain
Then you looked the other way, and I fell to pieces
I called out to you and laid my life in your hands
My songs and stories will live longer than me

You did it God, you changed my life, you were kind
And helped me to restore my life
You pulled me out of oblivion and decked me in wild flowers
Now I am bursting with life and love
God you looked after me
I can not thank you enough
