In times of trouble

A few years ago my world felt as though it had come to the end. Now I feel different, not looking back, moving on all the time in a positive way.

Many times I was called "Trouble"
Nature created me different, unique,
Deeper than the ocean, something unique,
In a place where I've been, and certain,
I would never get out, nature offered me help,


The times when you think you've found something worth holding onto,
Were you reaching out, hoping someone would notice you,
Maybe you've made it through troubled times,
With a memory of something you once gave up,
Pining away, sitting there watching time fly past you,
Maybe your troubles soon will come out.


Hope is all I had,
At times, I thought hope had left me,
My greatest friend, the ocean, something unique,
Never left my side, was always there,
Listening, listened, back and forth,

Sometimes hard to unravel, trouble,
Sometimes deeper than the ocean,
Sometimes unique, my greatest friend,
My confidant, the ocean,
Beyond all harm and hurt, I discovered,
As I loosened the chains
I discovered real hope

Thank you so much for reading. A hard piece to write. Sometimes I need to write like that to remind myself "Keep going, keep moving" . I followed the ocean a few years ago around Australia camping with my dogs clearing my head. Experience will never forget

I don't think you used the bridge too many times. I thought it was perfect. This piece seems like a cathartic exercise to help you through or reflect on the past. It was honest and hope-filled. You have a deep connection to your environment and that 's a beautiful thing. Very nice write.

Australia is a beautiful country so vast, sometimes I write like that to tell myself to "Keep moving on". A few years ago I followed the ocean camping with my dogs around Australia clearing my head. An experience I will never forget.

I did start too, there is a story in my life as in everyone's. But put it on the back burner. I am now settled in the Barossa Valley beautiful country, resting my dogs, I've started on my memoirs maybe one day I will finish. Just enjoying life now.

Dogs only know unconditional love. I believe it is our responsibility, as one of God's creatures, to take them into our families and give them a home. It is tragic that so many run the streets without love and care and proper shelter.

The same happens here it's sad, lost and abandoned dogs. My dogs are almost human, they have been with me since they were 6 weeks old and have the best of everything. I am afraid they are attached to my heart strings. I agree they are Gods little creatures, with a soul, spirit the same as us.
