The Siege

The Siege

A Poem by Bat Juby
"

tear down the wall personal experience

"

ALRIGHT! You in the building!

Throw out your inhibitions,

and hold your pretensions

up where we can see them,

or we're coming in after you.

We have you surrounded,

you have no hope of escape,

we will force you to see your true self

and admit the errors of your ways.

You have the right to remain silent

but anything you care to say

could very well be misinterpreted

and can and will be used against you.

You have the right to seek counsel,

to curb ruthless irrationality

and to make perfectly sure that

You know who you friends are.
