She has these ridiculous earrings

a star-spangled sweater

with the irony of dull colors.

 

Yet when I first saw her,

I was star-struck by her

                      her dark, flowing hair

                      that pretty smile,

                      her relaxed, beautiful complexion.

She's a star.
