Amongst the Clouds

Amongst the Clouds

A Poem by beautiful disaster
"

When I was a little girl my great grandfather always told me to look to the sky.....

"
Pink puffs of delight
Dancing into the night.

A vast canvas to explore
While I try to choose which door.

Possibilities sit amongst me
Arms of the sea surround me.

One glimmering shine of hope
Engulfed with fearful tranquility

The boat sails amidst the stars.

simply written.I think the ocean and the sky meet in the middle of the ocean in the middle of the night and become one beutiful sea of stars as the reflection of the cosmos reflect against the water.I felt that as I read this piece.I used to live on a sail boat and I spent many a night in the place your poem describes.Good memories

I so like your last line, it reminds me of a destiny that has miles of exploration...before it is reached, known. Enjoyed this piece.

This one is really good. It apints just enough of a picture but leaves just enough to the imagination as well...

Your grandfather was a wise man. The Sky and the sea can awake the dreams in all of us. A very good poem. I like your story and the excellent ending. A outstanding poem.
