Cry

To cry is to regret
When a loved one is lost you do not cry because they are gone
But you cry in regret of not saying goodbye
Not valuing that person for what they were worth
Not giving that person the love and attention they deserved
You’re never truly grateful for what you have until you have lost it
That’s a harsh lesson you may say
But a lesson worth learning
Cherish your loved ones and don’t let them fade away
One day they might fade away for good
Then you cry
Regretting all of the things you didn’t do
The things you shouldn’t have said
And the trouble you shouldn’t have caused
But what good is it now?
It’s too late
