MERE ROYALS

A Poem by BEL

"

Kingdom of thorns, pierce my side
Call it a rose by any other name
The final blood stained petal falls
Sweet smell of pride, throughout remains,

Lighter tides no more,
No longer soften clouds of doubt
King of crowns corrupted,
Reign supreme, hope bleeding out,

Darker days taint the sun
Drowning knowledge borderline
Temptation mounts a luscious peak
Red seduction, rejects assumption, my fair lady, one of a kind

Kneel before such guestures
Thy will be done when kingdoms come
Compensating love and war
Forged presumptions wrongly sung.

BEL

Take each poem as you will, read only as you like.

Let the words speak to you, listen as they sing a different song for everyone, in ways only they can relate. I feel I write in my own distinct style, Poetic words that speak uniquely on a deeper level. Individual meanings for each individual.
I guess to put it Plainly, what ever YOU make of it, is exactly what your supposed to make of it. (it has a different meaning for everyone ) no right or no wrong perceptions. Only your own perspective matters... No matter what that may be.
