Paint the Walls Blue

Paint the Walls Blue

A Chapter by Beren

the story of how we met
and everything we were afraid of is
as ordinary as rains in the Monsoon
Because we are two selfish people who think that the world revolves around us,
we have made our pain bigger than stardust.
We terrorized with our words and
believed the bad reviews of the secret audience watching the theater.

But we took care of the walls between us and painted them blue
We planted lavenders between the stones
We made our poems into airplanes and threw them at each other
We left our kiss marks on the papers
And we stayed together
cause we painted the walls blue.

God's two most faithless children worshiped each other's holiness
They caused the most important pains of the most insignificant world.
They both know they have to hold on to other,
They know they have to give the best parts of themselves and learn love together
Leaving all the past behind

They couldn't see the walls because they were lost in each other's light
They put aside their pride and allowed themselves to get used to the sun.
This time they will let the warm waters surround their bodies
and if they sink they're going down together
But they are more concerned with competing over who can swim to shore faster.
They are the ones who painted the sea blue.
It's all about them.
