Signs of the Sky

Let's face it,

There are no signs

We just see what we wanna see

And that's the only truth we need

You see me in your room, in your car, and in your poems

I see you in the sky, in the sea, and in my songs

I will only read horoscope comments I like.

I will shuffle the deck until I get the card I want.

I will read all the books until I get the quote God sent.

But there is no need to these anymore

Cause I believe in my heart

With my logic.

We write the signs

We believe the Gods we want

Or not.

We don't need a miracle spark,

But somehow we have all of them

You have all of them, in my eyes.

Signs of the sky won't lie us, if we want

We are the ones who will make the future scenario real

God can watch over us from a cloud if She wishes

But we write the fate for us.

In the lavender gardens, in the infinite options

Maybe in places where they can't even pay us to live
