On My Tombstone

On My Tombstone

A Poem by bd

Maybe my hearth might grow away from you
If a bunch of seaweed had surrounded my tombstone
Yet I doubt if it might happen because this world
Is narrower than a grave for me without you

Let them scratch your name on my tombstone
Let them be convinced not to take this life of mine
And to give you to me
Whom I've fallen in love since I was born

Now glowing embers burn my chest, in cold blood
And it's more difficult to live rather than to die because this world
Is narrower than a grave for me without you

About
The past is a gaping hole, your only chance is to turn around and face it. But is like kissing the lips of your dead love, darkness waiting in the hole of her mouth. We are willing to suffer, to die f.. more..
