A Man Crashed His Car This Morning

A Man Crashed His Car This Morning

A Poem by Beth
"

I'm not even sure what point I'm trying to make here, something about materialism

"
A man crashed his car this morning
Swerved at nothing and hit a wall
He died from his injuries
Bleeding scarlet over the black leather seats
What a shame, we said
Laying bouquets by the roadside
What a shame
It was such a pretty car

This was a humorous story, yet it was profound in its own way. I enjoyed reading this. It was very interesting.

I don't take it as joke , might be you meant it to be one but I think its deeper
We are not sensitive as we used to be , we hear terrible stories , many , but we don't stop to fully learn what happened , our hearts can be so cold , we have to ignore the sadness around us , we have too , otherwise we will not be able to continue

LOL This sounds like a joke to me. Yeah, it shows the mentality of the materialistic observers going by for sure.
