Run far away.

Run far away.

A Poem by Beth Wilcox

So perfect, so tender,

these are the moments I want to remember.

Laying in your arms, feeling your heart beat,

you make my heart fall at your feet.

You are my only one.

Hold my hand and baby, let's run.

Run far, far away

with our feet pounding the ground.

Running so fast, we run from the past.

It's gone, we have forgotten.

I promise to never let our love become rotten.

I ask you how you make my knees feel so weak.

You kiss me on the cheek and said this love is what we have broughten.

Great write. The rhyme scheme was good and overall, a meaningful start.

I totally agree with J.R. Amora...The idea of true love is a wonderful concept, but I feel it is impossible to be loved...however the beauty of this poem is outstanding.

i don't really believe that they'll be someone who would really think that i'm the special one and decide to take me and live a life alone with me...but this poem was really good...i'm amazed...
