Embers

Embers

A Poem by Elizabeth

Burning down the old asylum
gasoline
her singed wings glowing

Embers laughing
like angry fairies

We know
we know
we know

Crackle pop
Ignite

Stop

It looks like "singed wings glowing." A wisdom that knows when to "Stop".

Not sure what to make of that "review" but I thank you for reading.
A very creative way of saying I am letting go of the past... or at least that is how I see it.
