flying far

so this isn't a rhyming poem... its just a poem

I will fly far away,

I will wait for you to find me,

and when you do

I will tell you that

I LOVE YOU,

then I will fly farther than I ever have

just for you to find me again,

and if you do,

you never will hear the words

I LOVE YOU

from my mouth ever again,

because we wont be together anymore,

I will have ended us

and

me

FOREVER.

I think that this is a good raw piece that would greatly benefit from some general enhancements such as making it aligned on the left margin and using more specific punctuation like periods that will tell us where to end our words and begin new ones. I understand why you have those few phrases in all Caps but it detracts from the poem rather than adding to it. It just doesnt fit the tone of the poem. I would suggest keeping them in regular lower case letters. As per your preceding statement about this not beign a rhyming poem, you needn't specify such things. More often than not a poem has more power without rhyme. A lot of new writers (not to say that you are new) feel like they have to use rhyme and it comes off as forced and unattractive. Hone your skills as a writer of poetry without rhyme so that later on you can intrudce it organically when all other mechanisms have been touched on already. I look forward to reading more of your work :)
