Hand In Hand

This a poem about conflicting yet simultaneous emotions.

Separate grass from green

Skin from body

Cloud from sky

Letter from word

Ink from paper

Dirt from dust

So split branch from tree

Yet keep leaf

Uncover the souls

Without glimpse beneath 

Separate poem from rhyme 

Song from melody

Tear the anger from loneliness

Fear from sadness

Joy from tears

Love from despair

Content from chains.

For truth do the impossible

But for truth i say

There is no way true,

to show one

without other
