Voice of descent

Voice of descent

A Poem by The Elder Pine

Acid and oil-a mad mans face
Insanity and inferred flow
The peal of vision
A spectacle your eyes bear not

Too dull to witness
Past their prime
Walked a jaded line
Razors edges left their lie
Blindness a falsified notion

Reasons you can’t discern
Illusions to allusions
Your density prevents
Harper of useless cords
 Blackening the beaming truth
Jar of obscenity-in your eye
You are a syllabic cripple

Honey and sty are same
Both a shame and pity
Your petty ignorance
Dim wit-see fit
Educate your misgivings

This is a very well thought out piece. It clearly states the point that you are trying to make without confusing the audiance. Thank you very much for sharing this.

"a mad mans face" --- I do believe it should be man's.

Writing is my savior. It has become my outlet and my release, as well as my greatest passion. I dream of a career as a poet, possibly sprinkling in a few novels along the way. I operate on two levels.. more..
