Oh hark-Horror sings!

Oh hark-Horror sings!

A Poem by The Elder Pine

Dinner bell-one way ticket
Into the fires of hell
Freedom-wring!
Shot gun blast

Dead on the floor
Cold and disheveled
Poor and anemic
The soul sees no more

Captured in a lead cloud
As death chant read
Aloft and aloud
The horror!

If only you saw
The carnage –
The purgatory
Plague of nights
Buck shot-the many shards
Befalling man and his dream
