Ambition

When you look around what do you see?

Millions of people and mercy they plea.

The struggle goes on with survivel in mind.

And it seems the harder we try the further we get behind.

Only ever so often one will break free.

And get his head above water where he can see.

Some will say he got lucky but that'll be the day.

Because the ones that think that in the dark they will stay.

Without any ambition where would we be?

Among the other millions looking to break free!

I like the concept behind this. I think the beginning started out strong but by the end the sentences
got long and the rhythm got kind of lost. That happens to me a lot actually.
"Some will say he got lucky but that'll be the day" was the most awkward sentence I think.
The first two lines are my favorite

Good Morning Alaska Sam.

When you look around what do you see?
Millions of people and mercy they plea.

This line is very interesting: I must ask, if indeed there are millions of people with 'the disposition to be kind and forgiving' asking or begging 'for help or change from a higher up' wouldn't we see more of a change in this world?

Nice two lines Very well laid out

The struggle goes on with survivel in mind.
And it seems the harder we try the further we get behind.

For starters (survivel ) Should be (survival )
As we push through, the fight seems to intensify appearing the heading we are traveling is nothing more than an open country road. This is when we come to realize who we are and what we are made of

These lines are so~ true to life (unfortunately)

Only ever so often one will break free.
And get his head above water where he can see.

The second line here put a smile across my faceLife is a series of challenges; it is up to you to see them through. A challenge big enough, will reveal your strengths and abilities within you.

This line makes perfect sense, as long as we read between the lines

Some will say he got lucky but that'll be the day.
Because the ones that think that in the dark they will stay.

For some reason unknown to meWe have a tendency to shut down, excuse, push aside, criticize those who seem to exit a field of manure smelling like roses lucky? I don't think so Perseverance More like it

You complimented the write on this one

Without any ambition where would we be?
Among the other millions looking to break free!

The only way I can respond to this one
Be prepared to ask yourself, when you set forth one more day For things I want tomorrow, how should I plan today?

Wonderfully said on this one Bravo

Thanks for the read
