![]() When Quitting Time ComesA Poem by Footprints al carbon![]() Jan 5 2016 7:20pm![]()
When time is weighed against a frame,
in passage to tomorrow's domain, some days will shine but most will be, between the void and memory. My job right now is something slow, a crawl of sorts a place to go, with those who claim it is a race, I will not try to keep up pace. To run me down with prod and horn, is not the purpose which I was born, and though it seems to aggravate, it gives no chance for to inflate. My strength is not as it will seem, for what is life besides a dream, and so I sit with lead in hand, to try as I may not to be bland.
