Big Day Tomorrow

Big Day Tomorrow

A Poem by Footprints al carbon
"

There needs to be some driving force.

"
Taunted by open aspirations,
  new equations left unlearned,
  an experimental existence forms,
  discovering pain from the burn.

There are a million ways to go,
and no real place to be,
  when opportunities still exist,
  all desires are possibilities.

Impossible to stick to goals,
  to study wings that fly,
the time is too short to build,
the cost is too high to buy.

All ways lead away from here,
and they are too long to know,
the decisions are made to appear,
when the rubber hits the road.

When self-sustainability is reality,
Naivety is too great a burden to bear.

About
I'm a part time poet, usually during waking hours. An idea must be fed and put to bed in harmonic frequency as to the sun moving about the sky. Poetry is exhausting so burn clean my peoples. more..
