The Labyrinth

The Labyrinth

A Poem by BlackClaw
"

Just a quick poem I wrote today.

"

Forever we chase

For thine exit

May it be

Golden perhaps

Or shall it be in shambles?

Haps’ it be found

In yonder fields of grace

Of love

Of peace

And of nature

Or haps’ thou found it

Laying upon a meadow of thorns

Or an alley of darkness

Or a sea of mystery

What is this place

An endless maze?

Or is it more

Is it endless opportunity?

For all I know is this;

Forever we traverse this beaten down

Old, decrepit path

For what reason?

Is it the hope, the honor, the pride?

For none is it the end

But for all it is the beginning

To find the answer all

So desperately want answered

So may it be a divine curse

Or may it be a blessing

For all to endlessly chase

And hap’s one day find

This anomaly

That is

The exit

To the Labyrinth
