Creative Process

Insight into my creative process for short stories

Icy shivers up my spine,

as i contemplate blowing your mind,

my words create a portal,

to actions of beings

powerfully immortal.

Smiling like a madman

as my fingers fly over the

keyboard,

painting the images in my brain.

Sometimes i look truly insane,

head banging to dubstep as 

use my character to bring

and stop the pain,

fighting in the rain,

describing their feelings

as if they were my own,

whether that character is a

supernatural monster

or a scientific clone.

Sharp claws and mind boggling

abilities clash,

as swords and other blades

flash,

sparks flying i fervently type,

when i write a great story,

i'm likely to get hype.

Sometimes metal is my mental weapon

of choice,

what i use to help

my inner voice,

every time a drum solo hits

my writing doubles in force.

Monsters, demons, heroes,

what is and what has been,

all created from the stroke of my pen,

or the keyboard if i happen

to be typing.
