Goals are Keys.

I’d rather
go places than have things
Be willing to trash them
Understand that pain is as sane
as my happiness

I’d rather
look longer than capture it
Trap it through imagining
Capsules naturally amassing
It’s screws will soon unfasten

I’d rather
end fights than start them
Jump to the pardon
Mend what still lingers
So the wounds won’t leave scars

I’d rather
believe it than trust in
Gods that have rusted
Faith comes from wisdom
No matter the gospel

I’d rather
love you than say it
Though you’re amazing
Words aren’t enough
For the beauty in your brain
