people sure give a lot of advice without really understanding sometimes...

What Would You Do

 

what would you do

for a family

that you want so badly

you dream of it

in secret at night

what would you

stay silent about

to keep that family

even if

it’s a sham

what if

you were hurt

and no one knew

but you shut it out

to keep an illusion safe

from scrutiny

even from yourself

how far

would you go

to live like that

how long

would you suffer

and what can you say

without having been there

and feeling

that desperation

so unique

and painfully

binding

brilliantly expressed
the agony is almost palpable
it all depends on our tolerance level
i tolerated much more than i thought i
could to keep an equation going
yet, it fell apart
still, if someone had predicted that
i wouldn't have believed them
most of us learn only through our experiences
no matter how much we read, write or seek advice

(people speak based on their experiences and are only trying to do their best - is something that i learnt about people - i don't expect them to know what's right for me)
