Rising

Rising

A Poem by BlakeL79

Star in ascendance.
good fortunes rise.

Pacing faster,
success devours time.

Pound, pound,
don't miss the train.

Sounds, sounds,
running through my brain.

Out, out,
thoughts and shouts.

Relax, let go,
no need to take control

Playful sand through slippery fingers,
the tighter the grip, the less it lingers.

Cradle softly, precious life,
gently held through the night.

Learn, rebirth, march ever forward,
Embrace tomorrow, embrace the morning.
