StarsA Poem by SoulExchangerI fear telling you everything, so I left clues for you instead.
I fear telling you everything
“Do you believe that everything’s written in the stars?” but there’s this need to let you know “They say you get a wish if you fold 1000 paper stars” i live each day debating if I should or not “Hey, you don’t know how to fold these, do you?” sometimes I envy those who have the courage “Stars hold so many secrets and wishes.” although they are labeled cowards taking the easy way out “Don’t you wish you could see stars every night?” I wish I could, but I still care too much about the world “I really want to be among those stars.” it’s all hidden but i leave you everything “They’re the brightest when they die, I hear.” i leave you subtle hints and i see your conflicting thoughts “I should have you speak at my funeral. Just joking!” but i think you dont care and im not surprised “If you’re tired, you can go. I like staying with the stars.” so i start to push you away to no resistance “I’m the type to make wishes at shooting stars and at 11:11″ i think id like to be selfish for once “I wish I was one of those stars. Dying brightly.” because ive given up so much already “I guess we don’t always get what we want” so i settle for small tastes of what i could get “I think I’ll fold those stars. And I’ll give them…to you” always hidden small but needed and i start to crave- “Sometimes we give up. Only after we finish our last goal.” © 2015 SoulExchangerReviews
