WHIMS OF THE HEART

just a poem on missing someone

Humming from a song

brought back memories,

ignited a time 

where everything was so

relaxed and chilled.

Bringing back

remnants of a colorful 

past that made me 

who I am today.

I have had the most

beautiful love in my life,

my soulmate, my partner

but then everything became

just memories

of loneliness, of hatred,

of goodbyes,

cannot bring back 

the time where everything

was almost perfect!

For the nth time,

My heart is crying out loud,

asking the inevitable question,

Will he be coming back?
