Hold On

Hold On

A Poem by blaze887

Stay awake but keep quiet
There's something behind the door.
If you open it you'll fall into a pit of darkness.
The tears run down you're face,
Then leave without a trace.
I'm sorry I had to go.
Please hold on,
Don't let go.
Life will get better.
Wipe those tears off you're face,
I'll come back soon.

It was my time to go,
I didn't want to let go.
I know you didn't want this pain to linger,
So I let go of that single thread and died.
We will reunite one day in a better place.
Don't cry anymore,
Close this door.
