A Writer's Curse

As I wrote, I realized that being a writer causes a person so many problems in his or her life. This is not exactly a poem. It is more an expression of what I think being a writer means.

The worst part about being a writer is possessing the imagination to dream up false ideals of how the world is and how its people should react to certain circumstances.

The best part about being a writer is possessing the rare ability to make something beautiful out of the disappointment.
