First Kiss

First Kiss

A Poem by Moth Phoenix
"

It was on my mind =)

"
Her eyes meet his,

pale cheeks turn red.

Her heart is pounding,

as is his.

The soft summer breeze comes by,

caressing her sweet legs.

His hand moves to her shoulder,

her heart skips a beat.

She doesn't want to blink,

for fear it isn't real.

She watches him slowly bend over,

maybe it's her imagination.

The wind is pushing her closer,

1 inch from the others lips.

There's no turning back now,

why would she want to.

There she goes,

up on her toes.

With the help of a summer breeze,

and a repeated wish.

He plants his lips on hers,

she gets her very first kiss.
