Disguise

just how i feel...

I'm just not good enough for them,

they can't accept the real me. 

I'm just a freak to every single boy and girl,

I love that I'm unique. 

Why can't they just learn to love me for me?

I can't help who I am.

So why go ahead and judge what you don't know? 

I'll put my disguise on for all to see,

just so no one hurts me. 

I'll leave this judgmental school,

because to you I was never cool. 

Every single boy I like just turned away,

I wasn't pretty or smart. 

Why should I get played when I could have what's real?

Only a few friends to hang with,

more of them were out of this state. 

Why can't they learn to love me for me? 

There they go and judge what they don't know.

Shut up! Go away! Goodbye!

I hope I never have to come back.

All I felt like was the school outcast and loser,

who cares if people thought I was weird. 

I agree with Slipknot,

Life is like that...but what you must do is adopt a new attitude. I did. I don't care what people think about me. You don't pay my bills, therefore, bug off. This allows me to sing in public, dance in the mall, whistle in elevators, etc.

Why so pessimistic an attitude?
See, life's not just about being cool or having a gazillion boyfriends.
I'll tell you something.Where i live,if someone found me paying attentions to a girl, my parents would oust me from the house!(what this means is that i never had a girlfriend nor plan on having one).
But my life is not any stupid s**t or uninteresting quagmire.
There are so many things! for one, there is music.Then there are my dreams.
I don't think you look silly or have a problem,just keep smiling!

I think it's easy to relate to for quite a few people. Kinda shows how stupid and judgmental people can be. More than judging, rather condemning. Lot's of people put on a mask, so that people won't know what they're thinking, or how they're feeling. Just shows the honesty of how shallow a majority of the teenagers in highschools can be.
