Tell Me

Tell Me

A Poem by Moth Phoenix

Tell me boy do you not want to be my friend?
Is it something that doesn't condescend.
Keep talking to me and tell me the truth,
or I'll slap you like a stalker at a kissing booth.
I don't want to get hurt by a guy like you,
bad mouth is something that I will do.
I can't go through life feeling like this,
I just I can't.
I want you to know how I feel.
I want you to say the same thing back.
I don't think you will.
You won't ever feel the same way will you?
I'll never have a chance with you.
Oh well I give up.
Just tell me to go and I'll go.
Tell me to leave and I'll leave.
Tell me to stop crying and I won't stop.
I am crying as I write you this.
I want you to know that I like you
and if you don't like me I understand.
