Three Simple Words

I've been hurt too many times... people need to say, I am sorry.

Three simple words,

I am sorry.

Why can't you say them to me?

I stand and wait. 

You hurt me terribly. 

All you need to say is sorry. 

Are three simple words that hard? 

I can say it. 

I watch your ice blue eyes everyday,

how do you think I feel? 

You turn me down and lead me on.

Say it darn it! 

I can't go on like this anymore,

I'm going to blow up. 

Did you forget how we used to laugh? 

I doubt it was anything at all. 

All it takes is three simple words,

I am sorry.

I love this poem. I just got played real bad by this womanizer. I've never dealt with them, especially since I consider myself a lesbian (Im a bisexual leaning towards chicks.) He obviously hasn't apologized and this poem says exactly how I feel.
