November's Remembrance

November's Remembrance

A Poem by Moth Phoenix
"

...haha yeah

"

I see the leaves fall off the trees,

but the memory won't leave me alone.

Nudged between my innocence and trust,

lies your remembrance.

I cringe at the sound of your name,

falling from the lips that speak it.

A nightmare I can't awake from,

and it's weighing me down.

Cut the strings and set me free,

it's getting harder to breathe.

Please don't say the word November,

for I'll always remember.

Everything you put me through.
