Red Rose

Red Rose

A Poem by Moth Phoenix
"

I lost a friend about two years ago and I thought about her today, I wrote this for her. R.I.P Lizzie!!!

"

A faded memory,

one that hangs with me.

I remember your face,

and of course your laugh.

You were like my older sister,

I never had one.

Sleep overs and hang outs,

but they slipped away.

Now I'm left here to stand alone,

to walk this earth with one less friend.

An obscure remembrance of you,

it left when you did.

A stone colored grey,

with your name, I don't know what to say.

A red rose just for you my dear,

in my heart I feel your still here.
