Shattered Glass Splattered On The Sunset

Shattered Glass Splattered On The Sunset

A Poem by hello mitzikitty

Shattered glass splattered on the sunset
Crows bearing down on my every breath
Like butlers, bored and vibrated
Till dusk is gone and all must carry on yet

I feel like a frozen stone at the peak of
A mountain, crisp and undisturbed in a
Brink of banishing solitude and insanity

Underneath the eye lids, a tale of lies lay
Motionless on the tracks of a train trailing behind
A ghost with fangs and smell of roses, a mask
Terrible and graceful, he's simply unable to get full

Growing out of his ears are blood red roses,

Barefoot and whimsical he glides and spins by the marigolds
Hungry and dry, but he knows he's just fine
