Imperfection

Imperfection

A Poem by Sarah-Beth
"

I believe imperfections can be beautiful.

"

My heart is twisted like a deformed hubcap clinging to the tire of a totaled car.

My spirit is broken like a fragile piece of porcelain shattered on a cold tile floor.

My eyes weep tears like raindrops that drip from a rusty gutter.

My lips quiver like a red leaf about to descend on a windy fall day.

My sould fights for me to survive like the salmon flailing in the grizzly bear's paws.

My God fights my darkness like a wear flashlight on a black and foggy night.

My soul cries out for help like a lost faun calls to the mother doe.

My will is strong like the old oak tree that withstands the elements.

This is me, all my flaws and one perfection.

This is me in imperfection.

And this is me saying imperfection is beautiful.

Imperfections make us who we are so they can be beautiful, i like how you have things symbolizing something, this is wonderful. A enjoyable read and very creative.
