Unbridled

Unbridled

A Poem by bobby
"

Awakening

"

UNBRIDLED

I heard the slightest song rebound

upon my breast that once did not

hear the faintest echo of such things

things what hope and dreams made

things did sirens and songs proclaim

when if by volumes my desire spoke

and fled into those godly ears aloft

oh such sweet tears meekly chained

unbridled and soiled as earthly salt

was it my heart that thirsts for life

that brought about such a change

where were these songs before....

before my soul awakened on sober days

this rare kiss of moon and shadows bliss

blessed swooning my soul has missed
