love killed Jesus

love killed Jesus

A Poem by ashley

i think i distance myself from love because i am afraid of losing what i have;

i am afraid of the grief.

if i feel such an amass of love,

if grief is heavier than this,

how will i bare it?

love is what killed Jesus,

so how could i ever handle grief

if this is how love feels?

to have something at the tips of my fingers,

to have love at my disposal,

then to have nothing.

how are you meant to cope?

There is a saying that I like very much. "You should not give up dreaming because they might break you" and another saying "I have never hung a picture on my wall for fear of hanging the wrong picture, I have never lived for fear of living wrongly."

I too could never love because I could not bear the sadness because I loved wrongly
"love is what killed Jesus"
it is so powerful... I admire you.

well i am fan of this
