slow down

slow down

A Poem by V M Smith

that doesn't work for me.

i want to feel you.

i'd rather lay next to you

and watch a movie,

than watch you hang off a pole.

that time you kissed me

"just for fun"

then giggled and smirked...

i'll give you a hint:

that worked.

lay on the couch,

and call me over;

pull me down,

and kiss me slow.

don't attack me in public

like we're in a bad movie.

i have nothing to prove to them.

that doesn't work for me.

just take it easy, relax,

and i'll show you what it means

to be won over.

I fully appreciate reviews, especially when they tear apart my work in an attempt to make it better. Rip, tea, break it down. Tell me how you do not like it, how to make it better. I want your opinion. Truly.
