Suddenly Spring

Suddenly Spring

A Poem by KD Douglas
"

I actually saw the name on a can of air freshener and I thought I just had to turn it into a poem. Here is what I came up with.

"

Suddenly Spring

The dreary grey and biting chill of winter creeps low over the threshold.

Suddenly spring awakens.

The smell of green transforms the landscape.

The gentle warm freshness of new life sparkles bright in the air.

Birth, budding forth, renews the soul
