Forgotten

Forgotten

A Poem by Allison
"

I moved, and now it's like everyone back at home has forgotten about me.

"
I moved. That was the beginning of my trouble.
When I got to my new school,
I was that girl with nice hair.
It took me weeks to work up to what I am now.
A cool kid. Wanted, Belonging to somewhere.
All my friends from home, they told me to keep in touch.
But I try, but they ignore it.
I leave messages.
Week, after week, after week.
And I get none in return.
I am forgotten.

It is hard to move to a new school. Meeting new people and starting over. I would still stay in contact if possible. New world is better then my world was. We didn't have computers to keep in touch. A well written poem with a sad ending.
