winter

winter

A Poem by Desdemona

In winter's icy grasp, a world turns cold,
A desolate landscape, stories untold.
Beneath the silent blanket of snow,
Loneliness whispers, a bitter sorrow.

Barren branches reach for a distant sky,
Echoes of laughter, long gone by.
Footprints in the snow, fading away,
A solitary heartache, in shades of gray.

The sunsets weep in hues of blue,
A melancholy symphony, nature's cue.
Whispers of the wind, a lonesome song,
In winter's embrace, we all belong.

A solitary figure walks through the frost,
Lost in memories, a love once embossed.
Snowflakes fall, like tears from above,
Winter's loneliness, a mournful glove.
