if we only had a heart

if we only had a heart

A Poem by boston house kitten

the crack in my wall gets deeper
but the one in my soul is sweeter
like antifreeze for frozen hearts
and green thumbs like to feel dirt
but its fingernails to be hurt
9 inches deep but still apart
and the african's drums are bleating
such tone and rhythm's fleeting
but to me its still an art
and some one broke the story
forget the morals, save for glory
on this the angels shall depart
and names for love and money
"ill buy one for you honey"
what is a gift without the thought
and moments grow old and tarter
im sure we get it from our mothers
if they only had a heart.
if i only had a heart.
