Gangkhar PuensumA Poem by BowzaaTownsendThis is a poem about the largest, un-climed mountain in the world.
The beast never rests
Alive, but never moving Gentle to look at Appealing and soothing It watches and waits Outside the celestial empire Protecting the gates It's ice stings like fire For the few hundred foes Nothing ends well The cold rocky beast Buries them in hell Taking lives and limbs Of those as young as thirteen Yet a sense of purity White, cold, and clean At the end of the day It's head near the sun It’s not evil or satanic Yet a mountain of fun © 2016 BowzaaTownsendAuthor's Note
