NEVERTHELESS

NEVERTHELESS

A Poem by Latifa
"

this poem is about knowing our mission in life and the difficulties that we encounter

"
distant, very distant i stand
from the enchanting fairy land
with sublime air and golden sand
banned, i feel so banned
to fulfill my solemn errand
with chained and shackled  hands
can , i'm not sure if i can
to relinquish what i've vowed  in the  deity clan
to spread and sweep piety and ruth i plan
like the missionary men

I get this. The road of an artist seems to be littered with so many road blocks, speed bumps, and detours. Keep on trucking, I guess. Great write.
