Insipid Elan

Insipid Elan

A Poem by Latifa
"

tedious, tastless and unguided life can become a dread and a burden

"
The spinning engine got weary to life's demand
The green grass has fold his flair
The water has raised his wrath and command the rain to stop falling
Sailing his clouds to another world
Frozen life, oh how frozen life it became
Like piercing air that tear the cores of care
The prayers of the apostles are forgotten
And the court of the universe is adjourned

thanks love
I think this poem could be titled Soul Winter. I couldn't really see anything insipid about it, but it is a great poem. I don't care for the font, hard to read but the lines are wonderful.

The title an interesting contradiction, the layout ( font colour ) makes this diffcult to read...

This is beautiful. Too easily can one regress to a cog in the machine. To go through the motions, is to forfeit life.

tedium is a cancer that crawls unnoticed into the psyche

Get your pens out and eradicate that monster

Great write Latifa, but hard to read for old fogies like me....I always use BOLD...I can see what I am writing

I do get it...GOOD idea......I'll just have to buy a magnifying glass
They told me that if I sat quietly
And watched very, very carefully
I'd see the grass growing...

But they don't know
The lawnmower is broken...
