A story

A story

A Poem by Latifa
"

just listen

"
Forlorn dunes of sand tell a story
The story of the fable, of the glory
Of the times that were sipped
And are now forgotten
The relic of self, the relic of faith
The relic of believe are  inhumed
With no traces I only hope
I only imagine I only fancy
Forsaken by chaos I emerge into silence
But there is no silence
For silence is only coded
An unheard story that sway so gracefully
And seize your presence

Every story comes back. We can only grab hold. Great write!

When one believes all hope is lost, that all is a relic of the past, belief in hope dead, it is then that one submits to defeat as the silence caves in and another is lost. Chaos in one's life changes the way we understand and interpret the past and future!

I love the imagery here...
I do need to ask, though...what is "inhumed"??
I don't believe I've ever heard that word used before...

inhumed is buried
quite hypnotic..only surely it should be.. dunes of sand TELL a story, not tells

A great analogy of the self as a desert and an oasis that tells a story of sand dunes and the scorching heat of love in times past when faith was relevant and not a relic of humanity . I just listened and enjoyed the truth of your words...:)..................
